In 2011, Cabané organised this exhibition from the project Memory and Blindness in his studio located at 30 El Carme Street, in the neighbourhood of El Raval, Barcelona. This studio, where he worked for thirty years, was located in the same building that had housed the historical headquarters of the Ateneu Enciclopèdic Popular (a libertarian cultural centre very active in the education of the working class in 1920s and 1930s Barcelona, which was closed down and sacked by the fascist troops when they occupied the city in 1939).
