In the early works of the project Memory and Blindness the mainly figurative representation prevails and as the project developed the artistic exploration of the cartographic and linguistic signs finally took prominence. No dir (Saying Nothing, 2003-2006) is the pictorial installation of a series of black and white portraits on wood and later chopped with an axe separating the gazes from the mouths.
