In the early works of the project Memory and Blindness the mainly figurative representation prevails and as the project developed the artistic exploration of the cartographic and linguistic signs finally took prominence. Todesstiege is a serie formed by two pieces on the “death staircase” in the Mauthausen quarry painted on wood supports found in the street.
